The National Federation of the Blind celebrated its 75th anniversary in Eastbourne today with the annual meeting and a walk along the seafront. The group says it wants to highlight Eastbourne’s promenade as one of the last accessible areas which is not currently shared use (ie shared with cyclists).

Stephen Lloyd MP came to meet the members before their walk which was much appreciated.

The NFB has held its AGM in the town since the mid 1970’s.
