Coping through Covid-19 update

Coping through Covid-19
Community Hubs will remain open across East Sussex until at least the
end of August for people who have no one else to help them cope with
the effects of the virus. If you need information or advice, help to get
food or medicine or are struggling with how Covid-19 has affected your
life, your local hub may be able to assist. People who are shielded
because of an extreme medical condition, are being contacted with
details of how some restrictions will ease from 6 July. People getting a
Government-provided food box or medicine delivery will continue to
receive this until the end of July. After July, people will still be able to get help with food and medicine from NHS volunteers. They should also be able to arrange priority slots for supermarket food delivery: to do this,
register for support before 17 July if you have not already done so. East Sussex County Council and its partners, including the voluntary &
community sector, will continue to assess the services needed to keep
protecting the most vulnerable in our county. No one in East Sussex
should be left alone.

Eastbourne Community Hub contact 01323 679722 or online via the
Council Website.
